Nevada Pay Highlights

Las Vegas metro (Henderson, North Las Vegas) drives most of Nevada's surgical tech employment. Major hospital systems include Valley Health System, HCA Healthcare facilities (MountainView Hospital, Sunrise Hospital), and University Medical Center (UMC, Level I trauma, public). Reno-Sparks metro (Northern Nevada Medical Center, Renown Health) pays slightly below Las Vegas.

Nevada requires surgical tech registration. CST credential required or strongly preferred. Check the Nevada State Board of Health for current registration requirements. Nevada also has an income tax advantage: no state income tax, which meaningfully improves take-home pay compared to California or New York.
